Matthew and family

A message from Matthew:-

I am delighted to have been asked to serve as the next priest in charge of both St Ethelburga's and St Matthew's as you embark on this new journey together.  It has been a great joy hearing of all that God has done and continues to do among you and I am looking forward to the challenge of leading both churches into this next phase of ministry.  I am also excited about the opportunity to build on the rich heritage of both churches as we seek to make and grow disciples of Jesus Christ in St Leonards on Sea.

As a family we are looking forward to our move to East Sussex and the children are particularly excited that they will be living near the sea!

Please continue to hold them in your prayers over the summer as they prepare to leave old friends and join new ones.

Matthew's Licensing and Institution will be at St Matthew's Church, Silverhill on Wednesday 18th September at 7pm.  There will be a joint service at St Ethelburga's on Sunday 22nd September followed by lunch.
